Green tea stands out as distinct because it is one of the most pure forms of this beverage. Unlike its black counterpart, green tea does not undergo a fermentation process. This means that chlorophyll is left in the leaves, giving the variety its distinct coloration. The lack of fermentation also helps green tea retain a greater amount of natural antioxidants. Herein lies the biggest benefit of this tea variety.
