Call for Ethics by Barack Obama – U.S. Senator for Illinois
October 8, 2008
Without believing the priori assumption , ” . . . that all men are endowed by their creator with . . .” such calls for ‘ethics’ is merely prevarication. The only reason ‘ethics’ is possible is because the creator is the original source of value and all of creation has this desire at it’s core. If we are accidental results of the survival of the fittest, there is no possibility of ‘ethics.
Two kinds of ethics. 1) The ethics which resonate with the creator’s: willful submission. 2) The ethics which resonate with the man’s will to have power over others kind of ethics or forced submission.
