Miami Tax Day Tea Party

March 29, 2009

Click on the flyer to see map, details and tools for sending information to your friends.

I suggest that you start in your own homes.  Talk to your family about the Values and Principles.  Discuss the importance of what the Founders designed for America and how about the Constitution for starters.

Hold or attend a weekly meeting in your neighborhood or town. Communication with your neighbors is vital to the process of protecting our country.  Gather in living rooms, coffee houses or restaurants.  Share your thoughts and ideas. is an excellent internet tool to support efforts as your common base with others begins to grow.

The Family Party in an individual, father’s effort, like the 912 Project, as a non-political movement.  The Family Party encourages participation in the Tea Parties and The 9-12 Project and Global Peace Festivals.  The 912 Project is designed to bring us all back to the place we were on September 12, 2001. The day after America was attacked we were not obsessed with Red States, Blue States or political parties. We were united as Americans, standing together to protect the greatest nation ever created.  The Tea Parties are demonstrations of our peaceful resistance to the irresponsible and frivolous (most in congress didn’t even read the stimulus bill with 7 billion in projects for Miami-Dade alone) spending of our present government.  The Global Peace Festivals promote the basis of our cooperation . . . we are one family under God.

That same feeling – that commitment to country –  is what The Family Party, Tea Parties and 912Project are hoping to foster. Let’s not complain and do our part to get everyone thinking like it was on September 12th, 2001 again.

US_ConstitutionAt the origin of America, our Founding Fathers built this country on 28 powerful principles. They were clearly expressed in the Constitution.  These principles were culled from all over the world and from centuries of great thinkers. The Family Party believes the 912project people have done a darn good job of distilling the original 28 down to the 9 basic principles.

So, how do we show America what’s really behind the curtain? Read the nine simple principles. If you believe in at least seven of them, then we have something in common.

Visit and tea party websites often.  Make use of the resources that are linked here.  Network the ideas and resources that have worked in your home or town.

Washington’s goal is to perpetuate itself. We’ve already seen the frightening “CHANGE” offered by Obama’s team. Only “WE” can stop this runaway train!

We (my family that is the source of all happiness), agree on all but one of the nine principles. We believe that the existence of “God” is unknowable. This stance is not to be confused with atheism. Such a stance is based on the absolute tenet that “God” does not exist. Again, such things are unknowable. One can be honest and virtuous without deferring to an external deity. The question is, can a person agree and participate in this “movement” without a belief in God? This is a choice we have made based on our own review of the available data, but in no way do we wish to impugn anyone else’s beliefs. We support the “tea parties” and are planning to attend. Interested in other supporters responses.

    Thank you.
